The trail is all crushed gravel. The week before we rode the area had over 4" of rain (an unusal amount). Parts of the trail were effected from some wash out. Normally it is all hard packed.

Mickelson Trail Tunnel, there were several tunnels on the trail. This one had chain link fencing over the sides to prevent any rock from falling on the trail.
